Matthew E. Browning
Matthew E. Browning earned his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Mr. Browning worked for several years as a systems engineer before attending law school. Mr. Browning is admitted to the bars of North Carolina, California and Texas, and he is registered to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
Mr. Browning provides experience with respect to patent preparation and prosecution before both the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and foreign patent offices. His experience further includes patent litigation experience, opinion work, due diligence studies, and client counseling in the strategic development of patent portfolios. Mr. Browning offers technical experience in computer science, including search engines, cloud computing, encryption, and scientific visualization; electrical engineering, including semiconductor devices and processes, robotics, processor and memory architectures, optics and lasers, and communications devices; and clean technology including battery systems, wind power systems, electric motors, smart meters and other grid technology, and bicycles.
